Markus Howell is a performer, composer, and educator that plays the alto saxophone and flute. Howell’s debut recording as a leader is titled Get Right! and features an all-star cast of bandmates, including Michael Dease, Joe Magnarelli, Art Hirahara, and Rodney Whitaker. Another young gun, and former roommate, Luther Allison, plays drums throughout the album and piano on the song "Faithful."
